A few weeks ago we, Uwe DK8OA and I had planned an activation of the Bröhn at the first anniversary of Guru’s death. Lennart, DD0LT and Tom, DC5LY agreed to take part.
In the last few days the weather has been awful and there has also been a warning of ice on the roads today. We were on the verge of canceling everything.
But then everything turned out differently. The sun is shining like it hasn’t been shining for weeks and the forest was covered with fresh snow and we feel like we’re in ‘Winter Wonderland’.
First Uwe took the microphone and was very busy in the pile up. When HB9BIN with S2S asked for me, I was very happy. Thanks Jürg for the qso.
Then Lennart went to the KX2 and also had a huge pileup. He had a mini straight key from Bama Tech with him, which I placed next to my Sweden key. what a couple, right?
Shortly before the end EG7GURU/P called and I answered with little Bama for the first time.
