There was a mark II on vkclassifieds.com.au just a few days back.


I’m sure they were, but would Richard have thought of marketing them for SOTA use? I think we need a Tardis to find out… :wink: BTW, didn’t you invent the vertical and wasn’t that after the 90’s? :grinning:


Fibreglass poles of the sort that we use today were very hard to find in the 1990s. It was for that reason that I started importing them in bulk and selling them - long before SOTA came along.


One of my fibreglass poles was bought for a few quid at the local fishing shop in 2003, he was glad to get rid of it because " nowadays all my customers wanted carbon fibre rods".
