I could not work him on 40m but what I have heard from his QSO partners he must have the QSOs together and is mountain goat by now! It took Andy just 1 year and 5 months to achieve this!

In the beginning of 2021 I started with SOTA on OE/SB-247 with my handheld radio. I wanted to activate the summit on 2m… I went home with 0 QSO…
2 weeks later, on February 28, I went back to the summit with Gilbert, OE2GXL, and his shortwave radio… from then on I was infected to do SOTA…
Since them I have so much fun with SOTA… got many new friends… visited so many new places / summits… experienced so many beautiful moments… and, and, and…
IT IS ADVENTURE
