I would like to suggest an NP weekend - similar to the one organised in the Lake District my Mark who used to be M0NOM but is now Teatotal (M5TEA). The plan would be to try and activate some of the NP summits and then meet afterwards for a pint - with the potential for people to arrange accommodation and stay over and go out again the following day. I have suggested Ingleton (In N Yorkshire) as a base as it has good road transport links and reasonable car parking facilities. It also seems to have a choice of pubs, but I will have to do some further research before suggesting one!
There are the three obvious peaks nearby… and plenty more within an hours drive.
At this stage both the date and venue are flexible, so I’m open to alternative suggestions if there are better alternatives. At the very least there will be at least 10 feet in the pub on the Saturday Evening (Paul, Woody & Jet) but it would be nice to be joined by some others as well as getting some S2S points!
(PS it is not one of the weekends where access to Mickle Fell is permitted so no G/NP-002 but there are plenty of others to choose from!)
This event your are setting up reminds me of a similar event that took place back in January 2009 where a G/NP SOTA Fun Day was organised.
The idea of the G/NP SOTA Fun Day was to try and activators onto all of the G/NP SOTA summits and work all G/NP SOTA summits, summit to summit on 2m FM. When this event happened, not all G/NP SOTA summits had an activator on them, but most of them had an activator though. Me and my dad Tom @M1EYP activated Wild Boar Fell G/NP-007 for the G/NP SOTA Fun Day and this was a great winter walk, my callsign back then was M3EYP.

I would be interested and hopefully drag along my partner in crime (M1BZJ) to a NP summit.
Due to our operating style - multi-hour, multiband, hi-power operations we would probably go for somewhere like Ilkley/Rombalds Moor. Probably only be able to get a pass for 1 day, which would be the Saturday.
Ingleton sounds like a good choice too for me too as getting back to the M6 isn’t to onerous.
