Dr readers,
I am planning a holiday to Norway in the summer.
I go with xyl and a caravan for a period of 3 weeks.
Please any advice for a good holiday area with accessible summits and nice sightseeing as well. Time is short for this big country.
All of course near a harbor where we can start our trip.
Thanks in advance, 73 de Hans LA ?? /PA3FYG/P

Three weeks in norway, gives you many possibilities for sota.
I recomend starting in LA/TM (LA1ENA’s back yard), there are many ferrys going from denmark to kristiansand og larvik.
If you go to LA/HM, there is a couple of easy accesable sumits, like hm-009, road all the way to the top of the 6-pointer, but it depends on the road conditions and the car, how far you can go.
If you go to Røros (la/st), thats on unescos list, there is many easy summits there also, and a nice little city.
The regions further north, there is few sota summits, because nobody has done the job of adding the summits.

Tnx Erik, I have to consider that my car is not so strong, so the road to the camping must be easy.
So I do not go to far north.

There are many summits in the south-east part of the country which are easely accessible. E.g. all summits I have activated are in that category. You can find more info on my “diary”; www.la1eba.blogspot.com. Feel free to contact me if I can be of any help.
