I presume you meant Liam!

I did indeed. The result of posting while being in walking dead mode. These night shifts are getting harder as the years pass.

We nearly had a disaster…

I’ll say those things are not cheap and I can imagine how Liam would be until he could get a new one.

I have avoided buying the 3DS for my lot because the 3D effect made me feel sick, but I like the idea of the rewards associated with the pedometer. We all have our own DS’s, except me who is happy with the old Gameboy advanced because I only play golf games. Now if they had a built in sat nav!

Indeed Steve. I have never felt such determination to find something lost on a mountain. Thank goodness for the happy ending.

Shame you were on fumes at Bonchester Bridge as Belling Hill ss-244 is only 6km from there and takes about 12mins from car park to summit. You could have snarfed up a unique and another point. In fact you could have continued from the car park and picked up the A68 for Jedburgh.

In reply to MM0FMF:

I think not Andy, time was cracking on and we still had a campsite to secure, a tent to pitch and an evening meal to find. That is one of those rare and weird occasions when the next SOTA unique is not the priority!

However, we are only 10 summits off completing England now, so some of those easy peasy southern (Scotland) softie summit will be on our radar soon enough!

I must live on a different planet.

Long suspected that Walt!
