Merle & Herm, KB1RJD & KB1RJC want to thank all who were so helpful, patient and supportive this past week as we chasers try to become activators. If mistakes could be made, we made them! Throw in a bad power connection and some timing miscalculations and we have a new appreciation for activating. Can’t imagine in snow and freezing conditions! Again, thanks and more to come. 73’s, M&H

Hi Merle and Herm,
Congratulations on your activation and many thanks for all of your calls from the States, since you’ve been chasing.

We’ve all been there M&H! When you had the PowerPole problem I thought perhaps it was a low battery because your signal sounded unstable and even once without any audio I could decipher.
Learn from your mistakes and move on to the next one…just like the rest of us!

Great job getting out into the mountains! If I were stateside, I could have chased you guys for a change. Hope you get the issue with your connections worked out and give it another go sometime!

Always a pleasure to work you guys from the summit and was absolutely thrilled to see you activating! I regret I couldn’t get you more than I did.
Hope to get in some S2S with you both in future!
