The ON father-and-son activators have reminded me that I also have a new video on YouTube. It is nothing special, just Jimmy M3EYP descending the ridge off Cadair Berwyn. Nothing amazing about the “action”, but the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The link is on the Cadair Berwyn page in my website http://tomread.co.uk

Now to put links to my newly published summit pages onto SOTAwatch - in the summit info pages. (I love using these SW2 pages for information and tips while planning a trip - does anyone use them for planning?).

All reports and photos for our recent activations - NW-047, NW-048, NW-056, NP-004, SP-015 - are on my website http://tomread.co.uk

The wx for the NW-056 was stunning, so we got some great photos for that page.

Hell fire Tom, there are more adverts for your site in this thread than content, are running a pay per click service on your website !!! lol or HI

In reply to M0LMP:

At least it’s not hosted on qsl.net anymore. That site was so slow I used to feel my life force ebbing away as waited for a page to load!

It was never that bad for me - they all loaded up pretty quickly, both on the home and work PCs, and that included newly updated pages, so not the case that a local cache was being recalled. However, you were not the only one who expressed losing the will to live while waiting for my webpages, so I decided to do something about it!

But the new host - recommended by MW0IDX and GM4ZFZ - is much better, and my big long pages with loads of photos load instantly now on my PCs.

I hope to have a new batch of uniques summit pages to add on there in a week or so, after my sortie down south. I hope the forecast heavy rains don’t make it a complete wash-out!

Tom

In reply to MM0FMF:

I’m with you on that Andy; I used to lose the will to live while waiting and often just gave up. Much better on the new site.

Mike G4BLH

New webpages now added for:

SE-002, SE-003, SE-005, SE-006, SE-007, SE-008, SE-009, SE-010, SE-011, SE-013, SE-014, SE-015, SC-008, SC-010, SC-012, SC-013

…plus the odd update here and there on the SP-015 page

The photos should all upload nice and swiftly now on the new host.
