The RSGB has started a scheme to encourage newcomers to the hobby to get involved. The scheme is called “Beyond Exams” and the aspect of it that caught my eye is that one of the activities is a SOTA activation. I’m sure that we could get behind this initiative somehow. Ideas?

Reading through the scheme it seems like some sort of mix of Scouting, D of E and Blue Peter: all at the top of their game about 50 years ago.
Come to think of it, so was I!
This is not actually all that new. It started on 1st December last year. The “participating” groups were not informed of the scheme so they could perhaps get involved and encourage it along. Worked All Britain only found out about it when someone working towards it mentioned it on air to a committee member.
