NEPAL - Emergency comms

In case - you have not noticed, the emergency services are using 14.205-14.215 Mhz
for comms so best to keep clear of this section.
Mike

Most of the traffic has been on 21.360 MHz so far, although this less likely to get accidentally used.

Feel really sorry for those on Everest at the time must have been so frightening to have an avalanche come straight at you and all you have to cover behind is a tent !

Jonathan.

Hi Jonathan, what traffic have you monitored as I thought that frequency 15m was used for comms to India, rather than internal . What have you SWL ed?

I have been to Nepal twice so feel very sad for everyone there - dreadful events. Makes it sort of worse if you know the place.

Cheers
Mike
