N1AW
WN1E
W1PNS
N1EU

Hopefully I didn’t forget anyone!

73 and see you on the air!

Nick/K1MAZ

In reply to K1MAZ:
Great news Nick. I hope most of them can run down to 40 or 30 meters for some of us who are close. Hope everyone has nice weather. 72 de Scotty

In reply to KG3W:
I should be on 20 and 40 CW as usual, plus (maybe) SSB. And (Gasp) 2 meters FM – assuming I can figure out how to work the handheld…40 CW should do it for 3 land.

Frandy N1FJ/NE1SJ

In reply to N1FJ:
SSB??? HI HI! Thanks Frandy.

My plan is to be QRV by 1500z from a yet to be determined summit. I’ll start on 40cw, move to 40ssb and end on 20cw. I’ll be monitoring 146.52 throughout the activation.

Any special requests? Text or call 413-237-4666.

I plan to be QRV until around 1700z.

Hope to work as many NE summits as possible!

Jim/KK1W

I will be QRV hopefully around 1500z on W1/MB-006 (Mt. Tom, Holyoke MA).
Going to setup two antennas to see if my homebrew end fed works.

I will try VHF FM but due to near-by powerful transmitters, RX might be difficult.

  • NT1K

I’ll be on Quabbin Hill, W1/CR-013 around 1500Z and plan on doing 40/20 SSB and 2/440 FM. If time/condx allow, I’ll hop on 12/15/17 SSB.

In reply to K1MAZ:
Hi Nick Charles here N1CAI Just wanted to let you know myself and Peter W1PNS will be activating Putney MT. GM-114 hope to see you on the bands. Peter or I will be doing a post on alerts later

In reply to NT1K:

Jeff, just head north along the ridge away from the towers a few hundred feet if you run into Rx problems. The field strength drops rapidly with distance. The area with the iron pipe railing and stone foundation may be a bit close. Both my Yaesu’s had issues there (817 and 100). On the other hand I think Frandy’s K2 did just fine.

It wasn’t Rx problems as much as PTT lockup.

Hope to work everyone tomorrow!

Jim
