Great news Nick. I hope most of them can run down to 40 or 30 meters for some of us who are close. Hope everyone has nice weather. 72 de Scotty

I should be on 20 and 40 CW as usual, plus (maybe) SSB. And (Gasp) 2 meters FM – assuming I can figure out how to work the handheld…40 CW should do it for 3 land.
My plan is to be QRV by 1500z from a yet to be determined summit. I’ll start on 40cw, move to 40ssb and end on 20cw. I’ll be monitoring 146.52 throughout the activation.

Hi Nick Charles here N1CAI Just wanted to let you know myself and Peter W1PNS will be activating Putney MT. GM-114 hope to see you on the bands. Peter or I will be doing a post on alerts later
Jeff, just head north along the ridge away from the towers a few hundred feet if you run into Rx problems. The field strength drops rapidly with distance. The area with the iron pipe railing and stone foundation may be a bit close. Both my Yaesu’s had issues there (817 and 100). On the other hand I think Frandy’s K2 did just fine.
