Nantlle Ridge Travel Scheme

For those who fancy takling the Nantlle Ridge and activating Craig Cwm Silyn NW-020 and Trum y Ddysgl NW-024, to avoid a long walk back to the car there is a local subsidised taxi service that can take you either end of the ridge. Think it’s about £5. Phone 01286 676767 for the taxi or in case of any other queries contact PatJones@gwynedd.gov.uk.

Thanks, Robert.

I’ve often wondered about those two and seen writeups in the mags mentioning the taxi service. Have you tried it?

In reply to G4ERP:

Hi Richard,

No not tried it. Been fortunate enough to have family members living in the area to give lifts.

Hi, Robert.

I will try it and report back. I didn’t get up to Snowdonia last year but intend to do so soon. That’s one walk I would like to do - in calm WX! I gather it’s a bit exposed.
