Continuing the discussion from My SOTA plans for 2024 (and yours…) (Part 1):

Aims for 2024

1. not fall off a mountain and require rescue services
2. perfect my HF SSB operating with the little Xiegu
3. A 4M (70Mhz band) activation - Preferably qualifying!
4. Maybe hit the dizzying heights of 30 activation points

simple aims for this year, after this last year was a virtual write off!

Well, I acheived all of my 2024 Goals!

1. I havent fallen off any more mountains
2. I have the little Xeigu working well both on SSB and on FT4/8
3. I now regularly use 4M on summits, although im yet to qualify a summit on that band.
4. 30 activator points… MEH!! I have acheived 30 points this year alone, bringing my total up to 47!!

Heres to next years goals!
