Do you want an honest answer, or was it just a rhetorical question, because you think it was a plain perfect, impossibly outbidden action, and just provoking us jealous shack sloths? Then don’t continue reading.
You had some fun, obviously, mni QSO wid makeshift antenna, nice weather, video documentation, etc. You took some effort and deprivation, without any question.
This is not a reply specifically to you, it is meant as stimulation for all of us. These thoughts came to my mind asking myself the same question.
IMHO, when your car needs more calories to get you to the summit than you need for hiking up the hill, and the google server needs more energy to store your video than your rig used for the qsos, something goes wrong.
Once I drove to the entry point of a remarkable first activation. There was a Greta Thunberg doku on the radio at the time. I felt ashamed and blamed, This experience sustainably spoiled my success and really changed my attitude towards right and wrong with sota.
Well, everyone must decide for her/himself.
