After 2 days with some rain, we had again today a dry WX, so I left home for more evening SOTA. This is the location of this summit to the NorthWest of Pamplona:

I drove to the village of Osacar. The darker peak towards the left side of the following picture is today’s SOTA:

I hiked with our dog Lucho along the very steep side of the mountain seen at the right side of the picture.
From the place where I parked my car, the views were beautiful.
>Subí con nuestro perro Lucho por la ladera empinada de la montaña que se ve más a la derecha de la foto.
Desde el lugar donde aparqué mi coche, las vistas eran preciosas.
After crossing a small gate through a barbed wire fence, we entered the bleech trees forest.
>Después de cruzar una entrada a través de una alambrada, entramos en el hayedo.
After just about 20 minutes of hike, we got to the summit, from where I enjoyed very much the views:

With the metal rocket as support for my 7m telescopic fishing rod, the setup got finished with my 10m long endfed wire as a sloper to a 9:1 unun with 6m of counterpoise wire layed on the grass:

During my time activating, several small groups of mountaineers arrived to the summit and that’s why I never used SSB today.
A cold wind was blowing from the North and a dark grey cloud took possesion of the nice blue sky we had before. I feared that some rain shower may catch me, so I decided to QRT, pack up and descend before that happened.

Un frío viento estaba soplando desde el Norte y una nube gris oscura tomó posesión del bonito cielo azul que teníamos antes. Temí que me cogiera una borrasca, así que decidí hacer QRT, empacar y descender antes de que eso ocurriera.
Descent was unevenful and I got to the car without having see any drop of rain.
