Yes, me too Walt. Often I have ended with “E E” but only because I copied it from others as “seemingly the correct thing to do”.

Some resources say 55 = “(wishing you) lots of success”.

However, this says 55 = “Important” (?)

Oh no, never was it meant as 55 but as a comparison for something “cut” other than standard terms. “Dit-dit” as substitute for “cfm”, “qsl” or “tu” for the real confirmation of an exchange is as problematic as an “A” for “1”: (Still) rare, unexpected and therefore potentially misleading.
