What a superb achievement for your group, congratulations! I was surprised to hear about your cold temps – at the very same time, at lower elevations (even in the mountains) we were suffering through a heat wave and little wind. Thus I was imagining you would have enjoyed perfect conditions – but I guess not!

I hope you are in the log. Yes it was a kind of surprise.
The temp was 0°C at 4200m… and of corse more less at 4800.
The wind was blowing very strong and the wind chill of course less than real.
Then, later when sun was shining and the wind stopped, it was really warm and nice.
