Back in 2014 before I knew about SOTA, a mutual friend put me in touch with Mike to discuss APRS which I had just begun using with an HT. Mike mentioned how he wanted to use APRS while on mountaintops. When Mike further explained what SOTA was, that got me hooked and the rest is history.

So congrats to Mike for his Goat and thanks for the many QSOs and personal meetings we have had.
