M6ADB is now

I know I’ve been rather absent of late, but I’m pleased to advise my SOTA friends that M6ADB is now 2E0GFF

Hope to catch you from a SOTA location soon… or failing that a GFF or WAB activity

Congratulations!

Seems like I forgot to mention that I decided I didn’t like 2E0GFF enough, so I’ve swapped it for M0YMA

Good stuff, M0YMA!

73, Rick M0LEP (who found his 2E0 too much of a mouthful, too)

In reply to M6ADB:

Well done that man!

You now need to:

  1. create a new SOTAwatch account with your new call and stop using the old SOTAwatch account. (Mainly so bears of small brain lke myself learn M0YMA is you or I’ll be wondering why M6ADB is never about any more!)

  2. login to the database and change your callsign on the Edit Details page. (For gawd’s sake don’t create another database account and then manually move you logs about!)

  3. Activate a bit using your shiny new call.

Congratulations Andrew on achieving the Full Licence.

Congratulations, Andrew. Well done!

You may know that M0MYA is another well-known SOTA activator! Is Dave a friend of yours, or is it just coincidence that the callsigns are so similar?

73,
Walt (G3NYY)

In reply to G3NYY:

Pure coincidence Walt… I couldn’t have M0ADB or M0GFF, or any variation that I could contrive, so took pot luck.

I suppose it worked out OK, as it could mean Young Man Andrew

In reply to M0YMA:
well done Andrew

Just a shame m0wasadb isn’t valid

(sorry, a.n.other forum reference! )
