LNR 10/20/40 MKII 60m w/tuner

Has anyone tried/used the LNR 10/20/40 MKII EFHW on 60m with a KX2 (tuner enabled). I am looking to add 60m without having to bring another antenna if possible.

Any help is appreciated

I use the 49:1 match-box from a mtr trail friendly and 82ft wire for all-band operation with the KX2… Richard… … oh this will tune for 80m also…

Just add about 2.5m of wire to the end of the antenna and it will be resonant on the 60 meter band.

I’m not sure which one the MKII is. I have the LNR EFT-10/20/40 EFHW (12.5m long) and the LNR EFT-MTR 40/30/20 EFHW (19.8m long). I use the latter one on 60m with my KX2/ATU on most of my SOTA activations and it get good [but not excellent] reports using 10W CW. My 60m inverted V dipole gets better results but I rarely take it now preferring the quicker set-up time and smaller footprint of the LNR EFHW.

I’ve had the same experience with the same equipment. I used to use a 60m extension but now I skip it out of convenience.
