Oh, I still trog a 4AH SLAB and the rechargeables inside my KX3, but it does add to the weight, and I don’t activate all that often. Then again, if weight is an issue (and cost isn’t) you choose a smaller rig. Had the KX2 come out before (or at the same time as) the KX3 I’d have bought it instead.
… or most of us could diet the weight difference in less than two weeks …
