Today, Mark, K7EEX, obtained his Mountain Goat on W4V/WV-002, Whitetop Mountain, in Virginia. Liz and I were fortunate enough to work him on his goat summit.

Thank you all so much! It was a great day to be on the mountain and talk to a ton of my favorite people. I was telling Mrs. K7EEX on the way down the mountain that I may have crossed a significant milestone, but I still feel like I have a lot of learning to do and a lot more challenges ahead of me. Next up, I’d like to put more effort into some of the harder or more obscure peaks and I’d definitely like to overcome my fear of CW activations.
Also, as I said on air several times yesterday, this is all possible because of cool people who have the patience to chase.
