JUN-2019: SOTA activity in Spain and the Spanish speaking American Countries over the month of May

From my JUN-2019 news in Spanish

SOTA activators and activations carried out in Spain and the Spanish-American Countries in May-2019:

With the information available in the database, this is the graph of the activations and activators in Spain in May 2019.

EA6 leads this month in number of activations, closely followed by EA2 and then EA1, EA3=EA5, EA7, EA4 and EA8. We haven’t got any activations from EA9.

We’ve got a very good number of activations this last month, the highest monthly number in the current year, well spread accross the different call areas except the 9.

This is the graph of the number of activations per month in 2019 and the averaged montly activations number in 2018.

Here’s the graph for the chasers and number of chases in Spain:

We see Manuel EA2DT, Pedro EA2CKX and Guru EA2IF as the 3 TOP chasers. It looks like Jorge EA2LU is having a rest this month, as we don’t see him albeit he’s usually one of the most productive chasers. The notable increase of EA2IF chases this month with respect to the previous months has a clear explanation, as he is off work due to health reasons and he has, for the moment, more time availble for chasing. This situation will surely extend for a number of months, as he has just started a tough battle to defeat and overcome a cancer in his rectum recently diagnosed. He wants to apologise in advance in case he can’t find the time or strength to put together this news bulletin over some of the future months.

With the information available in the database, this is the graph of the activations and activators in the Spanish speaking American Countries with existing SOTA associations in May 2019.

We see this month 1 activation in LU Argentina - Mendoza, 1 in TI Costa Rica and 1 in XE1 Mexico. It’s not much but it’s something and the small flame keeps burning.

This is the graph of the number of activations per month in 2019 and the averaged montly activations number in 2018.

Regarding the chasing activity, there has been just 1 chase in the database by TI2RF. This is the graph:

We hope to see these numbers rising very soon.
That’s it.
