In light of information received that you need permission and a licensed guide to climb Tindaya mountain, I have deleted yesterday’s activation. Apologies to all chasers. I may do it properly in future as the view from the top was superb.

Thanks for the info, Steve. My chase has been deleted from the SOTA database. However, I’ll keep our QSO in my main log, not as a SOTA QSO, but a standard QSO because we actually made our QSO and I want to have it logged.

I climbed Tindaya several years ago - with permit, a guide and my radio. Unfortunately not a single QSO
But it was a very interesting mountain with pre-historic rock carvings.
