Internet summit location map - link needed!

Hi All
I am having a senior moment here…

I remember some time ago finding a link in the reflector to a web based map that could be set up to show SOTA summits on a regional basis. It may have been a google earth link, but I cant find it again.

Not sure, but it may have been of German origin?

Can anybody with less miles on the clock than me, or greter efficiency in saving bookmarks help please?

There under “tools” you can find such a map.

You can download M1MAJ`s KMZ file for google earth here:-

You need to be logged into yahoo to do it. It contains every SOTA summit in the world however regions can be turned off/on by clicking them in “my places” on Google Earth. A similar file for HuMPs is available on:-

The one Rick has posted a link to is an invaluable tool, Tim, put it in your “favourites” file then it won’t get lost!

Yes, that was it.

I recently changed jobs and forgot to transfer the favourites file from the old Company laptop!!
