Did you know that there is a system which forecasts Aurora Borealis activity. It’s run by Lancaster university and picks up the information from Crooktree near Aboyne. You can subscribe to get email alerts(for free) from http://aurorawatch.lancs.ac.uk/cgi-bin/subscribe
