Hi all, hoping in sporadic-E propagation, Saturday July 11th me (IZ0WRS) and IW0BSQ will try an FM only activation in 6m and 10m, for the first time in Italy.
The summit is I/LZ-039 Monte Scalambra 1420m JN61NU, located in central Italy.
Monitor frequencies 29.600 and 50.550.
We will start at about 10:30 AM local time (09:30 UTC).
I will use FT-817 and two magnetic loop antennas; please notice that ALL my RTX batteries ( and all my famili mobile telephones) are charged using solar energy: a green activation!!
IW0BSQ will use two inverted V dipoles.
Hope to contact some european stations.
