Activation of the Monte la Frascara SOTA I/CA-121 summit, within the POTA reference park “IT-0634 Vulcano di Roccamonfina Natura 2000”
The summit can be reached directly by car from Rocca Monfina (CE) (the last 500 m of road is very bumpy but passable by car).
I used the XIEGU X5105 + MicroPA 100 (100 W) with a 5.2 m vertical whip antenna and four resonant radials .
32 CW QSOs on 20 m band in approximately 45 minutes
There is good cellular internet coverage on the summit. Site noisy from RF, due to the many repeaters present.
Temperature: 6°C, sunny.
