Grimeton on 17.2kHz

Hi everyone,

just a heads up that Alexanderson day is approaching. SAQ will be on air on Sunday, July 2, 2023, 1200 UTC.
There may be test transmissions during the days before. Details about the time for the tests will be published on their website, possibly with short notice.

I’m looking forward to listening to SAQ again

Well done, Chris! It’s audible even through youtube

I went to White Hill G/SP-006 to see what a rural site was like for reception. The Mini Whip was overloading my FT-817 front end so I swapped to my 40m SOTA dipole instead.

Oh, and the weather wasn’t very nice, cold and windy with occasional showers. :frowning:

On Dec. 1 2024, I got a very good signal and nice audio using a LW-converter. My SOTA Doublet antenna was connected like a T-Antenna.
TNX for the reminder, and TNX to the SAQ team for their efforts.
