There are several SOTA hills that could be done in canoes which would make a fun combined expedition. I have one in mind for this summer.

Yes there’s a big bog on the top of Meall nan Subh and a boat would make crossing that easier. But I guess that’s not quite what you meant! Canoeing down Loch Ericht to the bothy would be a nice way to do Ben Alder and friends.

…obviously. I’m no Gaelic scholar but I’m pretty sure that its name translates as “The big hill best ascended by submarine”.

It clearly refers to a fast food lunch in a popular chain of deli sandwich bars. Perhaps the shape of the hill resembles one of those Italian meatballs.
