Hi All,

Plan to activate Sunday 30th August from about 1100 UTC. SSB 40/20/15/10/6/2/70cm (if my homebrew VHF antennas work,that is).

Hi Simon

I think you might find it beneficial, as most people do, to post ā€œAlertsā€ on https://sotawatch.sota.org.uk/,

There is, or should be, a link at the top of the page against Other SOTA sites; = SOTAwatch.

Its the ā€˜got toā€™ place to find out whose going to be activating and who has been spotted activating.

I checked yesterday when I first saw the post and Simon has alerted.

How strange. I did look to see, and couldnā€™t see any alert. Iā€™ve just looked again for Sunday and still canā€™t see an alert.

Never mind - it might be my Mac getting old.

Hope the weather improves anyway. No fun in this weather.

Check what filtering is being applied to the alerts you see. Iā€™d filtered to CW and that had hidden it. Cleared the filter, and there it wasā€¦ :wink:

Thank you very much Rick. Iā€™ve checked and Iā€™d got a cw only filter on.

So I canā€™t blame it on my Mac getting old. Must be me!
