GM/WS-023 GM/WS-021 and all on 2m

Last Sunday, in an attempt to gate crash the Lake District Summit-to-Summit Fest on 2m, Mo and I climbed Ben a’Clachair and Geal Charn. The plan was to work into LD with just my hand held and a 4-element beam.

It didn’t go to plan. In fact it ended up being better! I think my qualification of GM/WS-021 will go down in the record books:
2m FM handie with whips all round
Qualified the summit with Goat only QSOs
All summit to summit
None of it planned in advance.
A PB for me!

Could I repeat the feat on GM/WE-021…?

Nice one Fraser and Mo. I’m really impressed, especially Mo, as she wasn’t feeling good but yet you both still managed a 15mile or more slog. If I had to do owt like that with our lass I would get nothing but moaning all the way lol Hope you found a chippie open. Best 73 to you both
