Also @GM4COX also needs (according to my lists) to chase 9 summits to complete chasing all of the GM/SS SOTAs.

Hi Jimmy (et al),
Just picking-up on your Post. Indeed, I completed all the SS’s south of Glasgow/Edinburgh (south of the Forth & Clyde Canal - what we in Scotland would consider IS the South of Scotland - hi!) on Arthur’s Seat GM/SS-272 along with Anne GM4UXX on the 27th December 2012.
And by June 2019 was down to the last 6 SS’s, with the latter half of 2019, Activating some summits in Europe.
I had great intentions of completing them in the Spring of 2020, but a nasty wee ‘bug’ (Covid) destroyed that plan with restriction on travel movements. And indeed, what a beautiful Spring it turned out to be. Again, slightly thwarted in 2021 with limited travel movement.
However - 2022 onwards, with Andrew G4VFL intending to try and Activate the Southern SS’s, the temptation was too strong to Chase these on 13cms from the Home QTH, S2S’s along with 13cms Completes. (I was also heading up the new WoSARS CLUB SHACK in the Kilpatrick Hills)
In these interim years with Anne’s health failing, I was limited as to how far I could travel. With her sad passing this has now made me a ‘free’ agent. However, I am now catching up on a lot of jobs/projects I had to put on hold whilst I was looking after her. One of these is major aerial overhauls at the Home QTH. Should be all completed by the end of this month (Oct).
So, possibly might get ‘back-on-the-case’ in November. Staying overnight at a suitable hotel.
The last summit was always intended to be Windy Hill GM/SS-265 (should really be an SI along with a few others - hi hi!) along with Anne. ABW, I’ll have a wee whisky during the Activation in honour of her memory. (did this on my 1000 Pointer on GM/CS-015 in February 2006)
And a confession. My last upload to the SOTA Database was October last year, so the Database is a year out to sync with my Shack’s Master Log. This is another job to be completed - just filter and extract off the Master Log to .csv and uploaded.

Jack, do keep everyone informed when you get ready to do the last one as you may have an activator or two who wants to accompany you. Or be on another summit for an S2S with you on the last one.
