Thanks all for the kind comments. I think on the journey towards second mountain goat I would like to spend more of my time exploring in both the technical and physical sense. I do admire some of the homebrew projects people do and it has been on my radar since passing my Full License, I believe it would also encourage me to try out different bands on summits. I’m also looking at spending some time in Scotland this year and excited to explore new summits.
I’ll definitely stick on VHF, one of my favourite events is 145 Alive and I find that it aligns quite nicely with the 2m SSB segment of it with the challenge for this year. That’s another goal I want to try out.
Hopefully will catch you over the air or at some of the GW based events this year.
