The important thing is that the RSGB seems to have woken to the fact that it should start being rather more assertive with such site owners and ask for exemption from commercial rates. Now that is something they should have done a long, long time ago when the era of peppercorn rents started to end.
It’s a small step in the right direction and as such, should be supported by both members and non-members.
