I’m sorry to report that John G4WSX is now SK.

John was a keen chaser and became a regular in my logs once I started to use CW. He was just at the limit for me operating in GM that his QTH in Chichester, W. Sussex was just far enough away that he was quite a regular chase on 10MHz. The database shows John’s last logged chase was with Terje LA8BCA on 28-Jun-2015.

Reading the latest Radcom that arrived this morning, I noted the passing of John G4WSX on 11th July 2016. Interest in the obituaries column increases as you get older. Like Andy, I regularly worked John on my GM activations on 10MHz. He will be sadly missed.

What a sad news. He was a regular chaser and since 2008 we meet him about 100 times on the air.
