Apologies for anyone that tried to chase me. I think the Scottish midges were on holiday on Winter Hill this evening:persevere:

I abandoned the activation as soon as nobody responded to my call after I got 5 QSOs. Apart from them it was a lovely day for a couple of quick activations after work. Now, where’s my anti-histamine cream?

Don’t you just love the midge!! :wink:

They were just as bad on the west coast today, in the breeze! I’m thinking it is a new breed with turbo wings to fly faster in the wind in search of their favourite food - us.
