Many thanks to everyone who spoke with me on 2m on Sunday up Fountains Fell and Pen-y-Ghent. I had been hoping to get on HF but unfortunately weather conditions were not favourable for this - sorry.

Nice report and enjoyed our S2S. Pity I missed you later, our summit times on later hills didn’t match up.
It certainly got windy later. It was a bit “life and death” on the very short ascent of Titterstone Clee Hill at the end of my day. Everything I put down (rucksack, antenna, mast) started to blow away in the howling gale and torrential rain. My wife Sue sensibly stayed in the car for this one.

Sorry to hear about the lousy WX on Titterstone Clee. Give it another go when WX conditions are better and you can spend a little more time there. It’s an excellent HF/VHF site and one of my favorite summits. You won’t be disappointed.

I did here you, but only just, in QSO with Sara, M6NHA, from one of your summits as I was enjoying my lunch. I was at the road side, so I was surprised to get you at all and you didn’t hear me. Hoping for better weather this weekend!

Certainly easy to access Mike. I have done it twice now, but both times I have been “on a schedule” trying (and succeeding) to get five summits in during the winter bonus period.
