Starting from Pescara on a bike I’ve reached Atri after 27km and a long climb.
This summit has never been activated.
I sat on a bench in the village public park and tossed a short wire (4mt) on a tree.
I’ve used my KX2 at full power (10w) with internal battery.
Propagation was quite good, I made 30 cw qso (even a S2S to EA2BD/P).

Congrats on your bike tour and your activation with that minimal setup. I heard you very well.
Nice pics and sun, here in my summit I had excellent views with low clouds that vanished at midday.
