Hello,
On the 16/08 i have been active from Mont Gelas F/AM-057 at 3143m asl.
The hike to the summit has been quite long an difficult due to the ice in the last sloope. Because i could not stay long and the poor condx on the bands (using 2.5w and small whip antenna) i did only 5 Qso on 30M and 20M.

Salut Gerald,
Merci pour le QSO le samedi, je ne pouvais pas vous entendre sur 30m et ne pouvait pas entendre de nombreux chasseurs travaillez-vous donc à la place j’ai écouté pour vous sur 20m et heureusement-vous trouvé assez rapidement 
Le signal n’était pas très fort, mais assez bon pour travailler. Bien fait de faire du sommet et une activation de SOTA réussie!

Thanks for the QSO on Saturday, I could not hear you on 30m & could not hear many chasers working you so instead I listened for you on 20m & thankfully found you pretty quickly
Your signal was not very strong but good enough to work.
Well done on making the summit & a successful SOTA activation!

Wonderful region where I have never been despite being fairly close to it. It looks very wild and un-touched. Congrats on the activation especially with the small size antenna that looks like a BNC 750 or similar.
