I’m sure it will probably have been asked before, but is it possible to install an editing facility to the database for correcting wrong entries to chaser/activator logs ? At present the only method I know of is to delete the complete entry, just the incorrect line, and re-enter it correctly, or am I going about it the wrong way.

For activator logs: you can download the entries to a file from the database. From there you can make the changes with a simple editor like Notepad. You can extract just the entries for the activation you are interested in to a new file. Then you delete the activation with the error and upload the new file. Sounds complicated but you can probably fix an activation error quicker than you can read this message! Not sure about chasing logs.
