DL8YR silent key

Dear friends,

I wanted to tell you about the silent key of
our dear friend Peter Kallfelz, DL8YR on 26 May 2012.

He was a very active radio-amateur over many years.
I had my first QSO with him in the early 80s when
he works from Sudan and South Sudan.

His last listed SOTA-QSO was with Kurt HB9AFI on 12 April 2012.

Dear Fritz

Thanks for the sad info.

A lot of activators have Peter in there logs. I worked Peter several times during my activations.

Peter was a nice guy, I have even met Peter once during my activation on ON/ON-007 - PREUSSWALD. At 2.53 in the film I have a picture from Peter.

R.I.P and condoleance to the family.
