Earlier this evening in much local noise I could hear you 339 on 160m calling CQ from DM/BW-228.

Worked only 3 stations on the topband. i heard someone calling me deep in the noise…not loud enough to do a qso. maybe next time with a better antenna for 160m. yesterday it was no “real” 160m activation. only a add on 
if i have enough wire in the air as at the last two activations with the focus on 40m…80m,i do sometimes a few calls on 160m at the end to check if antenna works on 160 or not. if i go for a “real” top band activation i use other and better antennas 
dipoles are to low over ground…maybe i build a small loop with a norton preamp now in wintertime for 160-80m rx…only time is needed, also on the list is a 500-700mw 40m smt trx.
had two great activations on the last two days with the focus on working 40m. big signals and nice pile ups a lot of wire high over ground. at thuesday i worked abt. 120 qso´s in the first 60mins on 40m only. great fun ! think my low band antennas working ok now
to see what i will do in an activation is easy. look at my alerts. the frequencys i set in the alert are my main bands or i think the antenna is best for. all other bands are possible…or not.in wintertime i split often dx and eu to 80/20…20/80 to reduce a bit operating time. to work all modes and bands with a good antenna takes 2-3hours…maybe in my next activation i go for dx again after many eu qso´s…
after christmas time i will do 1 or 2 topband activations. i will set the alert a day before, so we can try again ! and also working north america is a goal. the only band without any sota contact to north america is 160m…so its high on my list. also i try to repeat a nice morning activation with the focus on VK. and also on my list is a fullsize delta loop for 80m at a high tree…ohhh, so much things to do nice hobby and great chasers !
so hope to see you on the next summit…maybe on 160m if conds allow !

Hi Klaus, I think I was the station very weak on 160 . Your rst was 519 here on my 80m ant.I report you in the cluster There was a strong signal near me and my 817 was only 2w at that moment so sri but 80m was perfect tnx for the tri.
