I see a lot of activators on the list that are not “talkative” at all. fwiw it took me a week (at work) to enter the 1307 contacts from my last DL trip.

Well I could have sorted by mode (SSB, CW) but it was number of QSOs which was important.

took me a week (at work)

Good man. As there wont be any money to pay pensions by the time I’m able to retire (probably be aged 87 by then) it’s essential those of us still working extract our pension benefits now!

Ahhhhhhh, the joys of marathon activations, Steve. Took me most of Monday morning to enter my last activation. Would have been quicker, but I got chucked out (timed out?) of the database at least 10 times :frowning:

1889 called and Herman Hollerith wondered if you could adapt his punched card data tabulator to make your life easier!

Or you could use the 1980s version of a deck of punched cards: a CSV file.

Type them into the file and upload it. Type, type, clickety click. Job done.

Tell me about it Mike, it`a annoying to have to keep logging back on & recover the activation - having said that, it is much better than it used to be before we changed servers. Also the recent download an activation for editing purposes is a great help to me when I type 100 contacts in but forget to change band etc.

We servants of Captain Ludd have no truck with such new-fangled nonsense!
