Congratulations go to Wayne VK3WAM for becoming the first VK Mountain Goat atop of VK3/VN-007, Mt Duffy, this morning.
Wayne put an enormous effort in getting SOTA in VK to happen and it seems only fitting that he be the first goat.

Well said, Peter. Wayne not only surveyed over 500 summits in vk3, but while the wheels were still spinning he moved north into VK2 and surveyed most of the over 100 summits in the Snowy Mountains region there, going further north surveyed 42 in VK1, then looked westward and started with VK5 (see Ian VK5CZ’s post) and then the VK9 Islands.
He has given SOTA in VK a massive kickstart and those of us who follow have been inspired by his energy and dedication.
