Completion of all Scottish SS Summits

Congrats Jack, fantastic achievement ! Always a pleasure to work you when GM !

That’s truly an outstanding achievement!

I can certainly relate. I also set myself similar goals from time to time.

The icing on the cake would be to have them all as complete. :upside_down_face:

But unfortunately, that’s beyond our control.

Fantastic achievement, Jack, to complete all the GM/SS summits - and an extra 4 on the way! It’ll be a long time (if ever) before anyone else joins you on this ‘pinnacle’. I look forward to reading more about your exploits over the years of hard labour working your way towards this goal. I don’t even know when you started - and it would be interesting to know when you realised that completion really WAS possible and then you presumably planned the remaining ones. I had to smile when you pointed out that your last summit was an island and should have been a ‘SI’. I think I said the same thing when we visited Carn Breugach GM/SS-279 on the Isle of Kerrera just south of Oban a few years ago. I know it was only about a 12 minute ferry but it was definitely not on the mainland.

Once again, well done - and what is the next goal (or is it qualifying for the curling at the next Olympics??)

Well done Jack. A great achievement I am sure you had a pint or two in Rothesay to celebrate.

Anne would be proud of you.

Well done! That’s a great achievement. I hate to think how many other soaker days you’ve endured nor the number of midge bites!
