BTW, you were spotted on 60m SSB this morning, Mike! (It has been
deleted now.) A case of mistaken identity, I trust?
60m SSB, far too complicated for me, Walt
Sorry, I missed you for an S2S yeaterday, I didn’t realise you were SOTAing.
VHF seemed a bit quieter for a Saturday than normal. I also wasted an hour and a half trying to get the 10m fishing pole antenna to work on 15m. Gave up in disgust having worked working one Russian and one Italian station. I suspect a dry joint in one of the pl 259 connectors. I was really over the moon about dragging that, plus the tuner and all the other bits and pieces for HF up Shining Tor for nothing
The Rucksack and antennas weighed in at over 40 Pounds and I was well out of breath on reaching the trig point.

Good effort anyway, Mike.
I was pleased to work ZL1TM on 20m in the Russian Contest with my 5 watts FT-817 and the dipole.

Brightness is a factor, however, I cannot tell which is brighter when only 1 is lit!
I didnt know there were different colour cats eyes until I was told!
Guess I will get some more wry comments!!

Thank goodness my Yaesu says “Charge Complete” - simple really!
Maybe some of you would suggest that M6’s should be colour tested on resisters too?
