I think the sota logo needs to be changed too. I always thought a
brown square with a man floating in space was a poor logo.

Totally agree Richard. It’s hardly…

“State Of The Art”

I’ll get me coat :-)))

ROTFL!

BTW, you were spotted on 60m SSB this morning, Mike! (It has been deleted now.) A case of mistaken identity, I trust?

60m SSB, far too complicated for me, Walt

Sorry, I missed you for an S2S yeaterday, I didn’t realise you were SOTAing.

VHF seemed a bit quieter for a Saturday than normal. I also wasted an hour and a half trying to get the 10m fishing pole antenna to work on 15m. Gave up in disgust having worked working one Russian and one Italian station. I suspect a dry joint in one of the pl 259 connectors. I was really over the moon about dragging that, plus the tuner and all the other bits and pieces for HF up Shining Tor for nothing :frowning:

The Rucksack and antennas weighed in at over 40 Pounds and I was well out of breath on reaching the trig point.

Good effort anyway, Mike.

I was pleased to work ZL1TM on 20m in the Russian Contest with my 5 watts FT-817 and the dipole.

73 and hope to CU on the next one!

I can see traffic lights! I have a 48 years impeccable licince!
I cannot see holly berries from distance!
Brightness is a factor, however, I cannot tell which is brighter when only 1 is lit!
I didnt know there were different colour cats eyes until I was told!

Guess I will get some more wry comments!!
Maybe I should walk past if your bleeding to death cos I cant see red

Thank goodness my Yaesu says “Charge Complete” - simple really!
Maybe some of you would suggest that M6’s should be colour tested on resisters too?

There are, indeed, cats with eyes of different colours! They are called “odd-eyed cats”. An example is shown here:
