Bury and Bolton Area

First trip away in the caravan next weekend, to Bury (Lancs). Instead of kicking my heels while Janis is doing the rounds of the local shops, can anyone tell me if there are any radio emporia in the area? Not that there’s much left in the coffers, but it would be usefull if I could get the 817 opened (it is a fairly late model and the solder bridges will have to be removed).
