This information posted on the BBC News Scotland website today might have some minor implications for those intending to activate Ben Nevis (GM/WS-001) in the coming year.

Outdoors organisation Mountaineering Scotland said access to Ben Nevis, and the nearby mountain Carn Mor Dearg, from the north would be affected.

It’s probably of more concern to North Face mountaineers but worth bearing in mind anyway.
