Wow where to start… So over the last year work took me away from home and my family also activating went to the back burner as well. The job is complete and finally got to come home a couple months ago, now that life is getting back to normal and quality time has been spent with my wife its time to get back to activating and working to achieve 1st CW goat in VE6.
I upgraded my qrp radio from the SW-3B to a LNR Precision Mtr4b last week and have ordered the Bamakey TPiii to complement it.
I made the mistake of starting smoking last summer and just quit a week ago so the lungs are still burning a bit, with 2 activations in the last week I can feel my lungs definitely getting better.
it’s great to be back and hearing your calls coming threw again and I hope to catch everyone on the bands!
What a pleasure to see your callsign in all those upcoming alerts.
I’m looking forward to have more S2S with you, 20m-CW is so efficient between our provinces.
Welcome back Jesse.

It was an absolute pleasure hearing your call come threw so strong yesterday, I missed the sweet sound of CW on mountain tops haha. We will definitely get more s2s contacts between us, I just need to start hiking a bit later in the morning cause the bands are pretty quiet at 8 am from what I have noticed the last 2 activations.
It was a real pleasure to find you on the frequency, with an excellent signal !
See you soon I hope following the propagation that remains capricious.
Best regards,
Chris F4WBN
That makes me happy to hear my signal was that good with 5 watts threw a trapped efhw that was made by VE6VID Malen. I can’t wait to get out again. Thanks Chris 73
